Getting me your numbers: about 10 minutes, read-only

The one thing that matters most is your sales history, straight from your CRM. That's the bible: it already knows who booked, what they paid, and where they came from. Everything else below just pairs your ad spend against it. No bank connection needed. Every invite is the lowest access level each platform offers: I can read the numbers, I can never change your campaigns or move your money.

Everything goes to: [email protected]
Start here: your sales history. The one that matters most. One report from your CRM (Clypboard, PestPac, FieldRoutes, Jobber, whatever you run): the last 2 to 3 years, one row per paying service line, with customer, service, date, amount, and ZIP. Upload it securely below, no need to email it around. This one file is 80% of what I need.
Upload your sales history

Goes straight to me over an encrypted connection, no email needed. Files up to 4MB. Bigger than that, email it and we'll sort it.

1 · Google Ads (2 minutes)

  1. Sign in at ads.google.com
  2. Click Admin (left menu, bottom) → Access and security
  3. Click the + button, enter [email protected], choose access level Read-only
  4. Send invitation. Done.

2 · Local Services Ads (1 minute)

Worth doing this month: Google is making changes to LSA, and older history may get harder to pull later. Connecting now lets me archive your full lead and spend history while it is all still there.
  1. Sign in to your Local Services Ads dashboard (ads.google.com/localservices)
  2. Click Admin (left menu) → Access and security (Google moved LSA user settings into the same menu Google Ads uses, so this looks just like step 1)
  3. Click the + button, enter [email protected], choose access level Read-only, send the invitation

Running ads anywhere else? (do the ones that apply)

3 · Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ads

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/settings (Business settings)
  2. Under People, invite [email protected]
  3. Assign your ad account with the view-only level (Meta calls it Analyst / View performance)

4 · Microsoft (Bing) ads

  1. Sign in at ads.microsoft.com → in the left menu, hover over Settings → User management
  2. Click Invite user, enter [email protected] with the Viewer role, and send

5 · Google Business Profile (free, and worth it)

  1. Go to business.google.com and pick your business (Google manages profiles right in Search and Maps now)
  2. Click the three-dot menu → Business Profile settings → People and access → Add
  3. Invite [email protected] as Manager (the lowest role Google offers here). One note: only an Owner can send this invite.

Your profile's calls, direction requests, and search views are the best free read on organic demand, the "Earned" half of the picture.

6 · ChatGPT Ads (new)

OpenAI opened its ad platform to businesses in 2026 (ads.openai.com). If you're testing it, there's no clean read-only invite yet, so just email the performance export it gives you (impressions, clicks, spend) to [email protected]. Early days for local services, but worth capturing if you're in.

7 · Angi, Yelp, HomeAdvisor and similar

These platforms have no clean view-only invite, so skip the access route: just email a monthly leads/spend export or even the billing statements to [email protected]. Rough beats nothing.

Optional: QuickBooks (let's talk first)

Before you hand this one over, let's talk. It's the most sensitive access on the page, so I'd rather walk you through exactly what I use it for and how I handle it first. Grab 30 minutes: andosystems.com/book.

Why it's worth it: your QuickBooks is what dials your efficiency targets to your margins and where the business is right now. A shop scaling hard can spend more to win a customer than one protecting profit, and the right cost-per-sale should reflect that, not some number off the internet. A monthly P&L works just as well if you'd rather send that than grant access.

Once we've talked and you're good: QuickBooks → gear iconManage usersAdd user → role View company reports[email protected]. That role is reports-only, it can't touch a transaction and doesn't count against your user limit. (Plans without that role can use the Accountants tab, that one technically allows edits; my rule stays read-only either way.)

Rather send files instead?

Totally fine. The short list, most important first: your CRM sales history (2-3 years, one row per paying service line: customer, service, date, amount, ZIP), a Google Ads campaign report by month (2-3 years back), your LSA spend and lead history, monthly spend for any other channels (rough is fine), and a monthly P&L. Email them to [email protected].
